This is a 3d printed 120mm fan adapter to 150mm duct adapter that we printed ourselves as a feature of a little Australian company with my 6 yo son to show him where money comes from. It is produced using premium PLA + plastic, and permits you to associate a 150mm adaptable conduit to your crypto currency minders exhaust, which is awesome as it allows you to vent the hot air outside (or in winter, it warm your house).
It is printed with premium PLA+ to endure warm temperatures to around 60 to 70 degrees. Great for use in cool air inflow or warm air outflow ducting. While your ASIC core will reach higher temperatures, air outflow temperatures are usually no more than 50 degrees. There should be no need for ABS parts under regular use.
A 500mm conduit tie is provided to affix the ducting on, yet you may likewise utilise a 150mm width screw clip (not provided).
You should be fine with the stock screws on the miner, as on a S9 there is around 2mm leeway before you hit the capacitor on the hash board. If you are unsure you can always add some washers to the one screw which is impacted. I personally haven't found this necessary.
Colour will depend on available material - if you require a specific colour please let me know as soon as possible after placing your order.
Caution
Utilising a 100mm duct adapter on some ASIC machines presents huge back pressure, which brings about diminished airflow. You could possibly utilise 100mm adapters in the event that you are taking care of the machine using precooled air from an air-conditioner, and have an exceptionally short (<1m) exhaust run. Where ever possible it would be wiser to use a 125mm or 150mm duct adapters, which give 56% and 125% more cross sectional area.
